iOS 5 and iCloud available October 12th
The latest iOS 5 and the cloud based service iCloud will be released on October 12th. Apple data security on iCloud
Is data secure on iCloud service? Does iCloud meet security standards for HIPAA certification?
Apple has not released the security certifications for iCloud. HIPAA is a set of U.S. rules/standards for security and the Dropbox isn't currently HIPAA compliant. I think that the iCloud will have solid data security protection.
