iPad crashes on syncing since updating to iOS4.2

Since updating to iOS 4.2, every time I try to sync and it starts the process, my iPad crashes almost immediately and iTunes freezes on Mac.I have tried deleting the backup, restoring, it still happen every sync. Then I open iTunes. From the Edit menu, choose Preferences > the Devices tab, and click the "Reset Sync History". Now it seems to be working again.
